Itinerary
Day 1: Srinagar - Arrival
On arrival at Srinagar airport. Meet our representative and proceed to the hotel/house boat. For years Srinagar and its environs provided the most iconic images of a holiday in the hill for Indian tourists, beautiful house boats in Dal Lake, flowers of Mugal Garden the red foliage of the chinar trees and the alternately grassy and snowy slopes in the nearby meadows. Srinagar is the summer capital of Jammu. Upon arrival at hotel/house boat, complete the check in formalities. Rest day is free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Srinagar - Sonamarg
After breakfast, proceed for Sonmarg (the meadow of gold) which is one of the most popular tourist attraction in Kashmir, the town is located at the height of 2, 740 meter.it is most beautiful place of the Kashmir valley, there are rolling hills, craggy peaks, rushing streams, a glacier and a trout filled river which offers an amazing view against the Mountain ranges and refine sky.
On reaching Sonmarg, check in at the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Sonamarg - Pahalgam
Post breakfast, proceed to Pahalgam. It is located at the distance of 164 kilometers from Sonamarg. Pahalgam offers beautiful hillsides forested with tall pine trees, luxuriant meadows and endearing valleys Himalayan Lidder River. En route visit the Avantipur Ruins. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Later, in the evening, explore the local market and nearby locations. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Pahalgam (Sightseeing)
Post breakfast, the day is at leisure or you may go for walks or pony ride to many picturesque spots around Pahalgam (not included on the package). The must see attractions are such as Chandiwari, Aru Valley and Betaab Valley. The initiating point of Amarnath Yatra, Chandanwari is an extremely scenic picnic spot where you can also partake in sledge riding. One of the spectacular destination, Betaab Valley is known as a base camp site for trekking enthusiasts. Aru Valley is a stunning village, renowned for its peaceful surroundings, floral meadows and lakes. You can also indulge in rafting in Lidder River, if you love adventure sports. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5: Pahalgam - Srinagar Sightseeing
After breakfast proceed to Srinagar which is located at about 87.2 kilometers away from Pahalgam. Upon arrival in Srinagar, check in to houseboat. After freshen up proceed for sightseeing tour, first visit the Shankaracharya Hill Temple, also known as Jyesteshwara temple, which was built during the 9th century, visit Mughal Gardens, a group of well-maintained gardens that are built in Persian style of architecture also explore the Nishat Bagh which is second largest in garden in Kashmir, buit by Empress Noor Jahan in 1633 also visit one of the most popular Chashmi-e Shahi, and Shalimar Bagh, Post lunch, enjoy Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Return to your room in the evening for overnight stay.
Day 6: Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar
After breakfast drive to Gulmarg for full day trip to Gulmarg (the meadow of flowers) 2730 meters above from sea level. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and one of the highest golf courses in the world with 18 holes. You can also enjoy a view of Nanga Parbat if the weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. A short trek up to Khilanmarg, which can be covered in about 3 hrs, is optional. The Gondola Lift Mountain rides is also available. Later, return to the hotel/houseboat for overnight stay.
Day 7: Departure from Srinagar
In morning after breakfast at your hotel you will be driven back to Srinagar Airport to board your connecting flight for the onward journey with Sweet and Happy Memories.
